Appreciation shown through flags on Johnson Drive

Posted on Tuesday May 23, 2017

Take a minute to appreciate the flags flying once again on Johnson Drive. The flags are possible through contributions to Mission's "Memorial Flag Fund" in honor of someone who has served or is currently serving in the U.S. military.

American FlagThe City displays American flags along Johnson Drive beginning for Memorial Day and into the fall through Veteran's Day. The flags are a tribute to those who have served or are currently serving our country.

The flags have been made possible by contributions to Mission's "Memorial Flag Fund." Donations are still being accepted in support of the purchase and future replacement of the flags.
Donations may be made by check or credit card and may be made in honor or in memory of a veteran or service member, or any person you would like to recognize. Notification of this tribute will be sent to a person of your choice, and your information and honoree will be listed in the Mission Magazine and on the City's website.

The form to donate is located here. Please print and complete the form and return it to:
