Earth Hour 2018

 - What is it? -

Earth Hour is a chance for people around the world to #CONNECT2EARTH from 8:30 p.m.-9:30 p.m. March 24 local time. Turn off the lights, shut down the computers, and give some thought to how you and your family can take action for our planet and nature.

- The plan in Mission, KS -
The Mission Sustainability Commission will meet at Broadmoor Park, beginning at 8 p.m. on March 24th. Meet and greet with friends and neighbors, and then at 8:30 p.m., it's lights out for s'mores roasting and trail walking.

We encourage you to bike or walk to this event! Make sure to turn off your lights at your home and office, and join us in the park. Bring a lawn chair, a flashlight, and ideas on how to continue to save energy beyond Earth Hour.
