Rock Creek Corridor Study

The Rock Creek Corridor Study is a Planning for Sustainable Places (PSP) project utilizing funds awarded by the Mid-America Regional Council (MARC). The City of Mission has partnered with Wilson & Company, Engineers and Architects who are leading a team of planners, engineers, and landscape architects (Hoxie Collective, SWT Design, and BikeWalkKC) to analyze the Rock Creek corridor from Woodson to Roeland Drive, and from Johnson Drive to Martway. This initiative will provide a unique opportunity to address overlapping transportation, amenities, economic development, housing, and environmental needs along the trail which will help shape the future of the Rock Creek corridor and the downtown commercial district. This effort aims to enhance mobility, safety, and quality of life in Mission.
