Request for Proposals- Appraisal and Acquisition Services
The City of Mission is soliciting proposals from qualified firms to provide appraisal, right-of-way, and easement acquisition services for the Johnson Drive Street Reconstruction Project (Metcalf to Lamar). The project involves the acquisition of approximately 23 commercial easements and/or right-of-way and is funded in part by federal funds. All appraisal and acquisition activities must comply with the Uniform Relocation Assistance and Real Property Acquisition Policies Act of 1970 (Uniform Act) and KDOT guidelines.

Proposals must be received in the Public Works Office by 2:00 p.m. Central Standard Time on Thursday, December 5, 2024. Proposals can be hand delivered or mailed to the City of Mission, Attn: Stephanie Boyce, 4775 Lamar Avenue, Mission, KS 66202.
Questions relating to this RFP and any requests for clarification, and/or additional information deemed necessary by any responding firm shall be submitted in writing via email and directed to Stephanie Boyce.
All information requests and/or clarifications received prior to 4:00 pm on November 21, 2024, will be responded to in writing by the City addressed to all known interested firms though Drexel Technologies. No proposals will be accepted after 2:00 pm December 5, 2024.
Request for Bids- Pavement Markings
The City of Mission is soliciting proposals from qualified contractors to provide pavement markings throughout the City of Mission per the attached plans.
Sealed bids should be marked Pavement Marking Plan Project # PM-2024-01 and are due on December 11, 2024, by 2:00PM to:

Questions should be directed in writing to Brent Morton, at bmorton@missionks.org by December 4, 2024. If an addendum is needed, it will be posted to Drexel Technologies Plan Room (https://planroom.drexeltech.com/View/Default.aspx) by December 6, 2024.
Request for Bids- Facility Custodial Services
The City of Mission, Kansas is accepting bids from qualified firms to provide custodial services to three of the City’s offices on an annual contract basis:
1)Mission City Hall, 6090 Woodson Street, first floor only;
2)Mission Police Department, 6090 Woodson Street, all areas;
3)Mission Public Works, 4775 Lamar Avenue, office areas only.
The selected firm will be responsible for ongoing custodial tasks for a flat annual fee per building, and may provide special services occasionally on an hourly basis as provided in the Bid. The initial term of the agreement is one year, from January 1, 2025 to December 31, 2025, with two additional one-year renewal periods. Click here to view the full invitation for bid.
Interested firms are specifically directed to the Scope of Work section of this document, which describes the City’s conditions and expectations for the selected firm. The attachments include an itemized list of tasks as well as floor plans for each facility.
A pre-bid meeting will be held Wednesday, November 20, 2024 at 9 a.m. starting in the City Council Chambers at City Hall, 6090 Woodson Street. This will be the only chance to tour the facilities. Attendance of prospective bidders is highly encouraged.
