Local businesses and nonprofits will provide information and items to help you live a more sustainable life.

Education Sessions 2024:

9:30 a.m.  – ChangeGamers!: Accelerating climate literacy through games & simulations.
10:00 a.m.  – Otto’s Environmental Improvements: focusing on the identification and responsible removal of invasive plants.
10:30 a.m.  – Ripple Glass: education on the importance and ease of glass recycling.
11:00 a.m.  – Metropolitan Energy Center: education on the practical ways to make their homes and transportation more sustainable.
11:30 a.m.  – Green CAT Services: promoting energy efficiency, planting trees, and educating homeowners and business owners on programs and incentives in our area.

Children’s Activities

Bring your kids – children will be in for lots of fun and educational activities. And yes, there will be face painting!

Eco Elvis

What do you get when you mix Elvis, Weird Al Yankovic, and Greta Thunberg? Eco Elvis! Eco Elvis is the environmental Elvis who sings parodies of Elvis songs to “edutain” people about how to save money, improve their health, and take care of their home and planet earth. He’ll get you dancin’, singin’, laughin’, and all shook up!

Electronics Recycling

Secure eCycle will be taking old computers and electronics, focusing on laptops, desktops and monitors and recycling them at the event. There is no need to remove or wipe hard drives ahead of time as they offer certified data destruction and recycling services. Fees apply for certain items.

TV’s – $40 each
Monitors – $ 20 each
