Seasonal Opportunities
Help Mission residents who are older or who have mobility limitations when leaves and snow fall. Leaf Busters and Snow Angels are seasonal volunteer programs that match residents with volunteers who will clear leaves and yard debris and shovel snow. Matches are made as they are requested, and as schedules allow. Adding your name to the contact list does not obligate you to volunteer each time you are called.

Adopt-A-Street Program
Enhance our community by adopting a section of Mission’s streets. Our Adopt-A-Street program is open to community organizations who are interested in beautifying our streets by removing litter from the public right-of-way. Click here to learn more.

Adopt-A-Park Program
Keep Mission’s parks looking their best! Community groups are invited to adopt a park and will receive training on basic park maintenance. Contact Mission Parks + Recreation for more information at 913.722.8200.
