The Foxridge Drive Rehabilitation Project between 51st Street and Lamar Avenue, part of the City’s 5-Year Capital Improvement Plan for 2023, has been completed. The $5.4 million scope included full depth road reconstruction, new sidewalks and retaining walls, stormwater drainage upgrades, traffic signal replacements, new streetlights, and fresh pavement markings.
Prior to the roadwork, utilities like gas, water, fiber, and power replaced aging infrastructure along the corridor to coordinate with the rehabilitation project. The rebuilt streetscape has revitalized this key transportation corridor, providing a smoother driving surface, enhanced stormwater management, improved pedestrian accessibility with new sidewalks and ADA ramps, and modernized traffic signals and lighting.
Residents and commuters can now enjoy the benefits of this infrastructure investment that promotes mobility, safety, and accessibility for all users along Foxridge Drive.
