The Mission City Council continues to support the city’s long-running Community Rebate Program, providing financial relief for qualifying households. The program offers rebates on city property taxes, utility franchise fees, and other charges for homeowners with low-to-moderate incomes.
2025 Overview:
- Income Eligibility Remains at 65% of Area Median Income for 2025: This threshold, previously increased from 50% of AMI, remains unchanged, ensuring more families can qualify based on their household size and income level.

Rebate Details:
- 50% Rebate on Storm Water Utility Fee: Households will continue to receive a 50% rebate on property taxes, solid waste fees, and the city’s storm water utility fee.
- With no major changes for 2025, eligible households can expect similar rebate amounts as last year. The city has budgeted $25,000 for the program.
