As we enter December, winter weather will soon be upon us. We’ve got our snow routes mapped, our plows are named, our crews are trained. Now, here is how you can help us keep the streets clear and safe this snow season by following these helpful tips:

✅ Do:
🚗 Park in the Driveway (When Possible): This helps eliminate obstacles in the street for plowing.
❄️ Shovel Snow to the Left of Your Driveway: It reduces snow drifts at your driveway entrance.
🚜 Maintain a Safe Following Distance: Stay at least 30 feet behind snowplows for everyone’s safety.

❌ Don’t:
🚗 Park Cars on Both Sides of the Street: Wait until snow removal operations are complete before resuming on-street parking.
❄️ Place Driveway Snow in the Street: This will result in more snow accumulating at your driveway entrance.
🚧 Tailgate or Pass the Plow: Blind spots and low visibility make it unsafe to pass during snow operations.
