The Powell Community Center has some great events planned to ring in the New Year, celebrate winter, and help you keep moving in 2025. Plus, mark your calendars for the New Membership Drive, offering a 10% discount on all paid-in-full new PCC memberships (for those who have not been a PCC member in the last 12 months) between December 26 and January 4. ✨ Noon Years Eve Party – Tuesday, December 31 9:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m., Balloon Drop at Noon – all ages of children are welcome to this special edition of the PCC’s Indoor Playground. Cost is $4 per child, adults are free. Join us to ring in 2025 and let the kids run, jump, explore the indoor playground and swim in the pool, leading up to a thrilling countdown and balloon drop right at noon! With festive crafts, and tons of surprises, it’s the perfect way for little ones to celebrate the start of a new year with all the excitement and none of the yawns! All children must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
✨ Winter Waterland – Friday, January 3 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. – An evening of fun with delicious pizza, creative crafts, and a dive-in movie featuring Happy Feet in the indoor pool! It’s the perfect way to spend time with family and friends, enjoy some tasty treats, and have a blast at the pool. Don’t miss out on this exciting event – register online today! $10 per child, accompanying adult(s) free. All children must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
✨Fort Night – Friday, February 21 – 6:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. – Join us for a fort building competition of epic proportions! Design and build your masterpiece from 6 -7 pm and then tuck in for a movie and snacks from 7 – 9 pm at the PCC. Cardboard will be provided, but participants are welcome to bring their own and other soft building materials. $20 per each 1 adult/1 child team, additional teammates $8 each. All children must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
