Adopt-a-Park

Adopt-A-Park is a partnership that promotes volunteering in beautifying our valuable park and trail system. This effort creates community engagement and promotes a clean, safe, well-maintained environment for our citizens and neighbors to enjoy. This program encourages partnerships with schools, troops, l ocal businesses, civil alliances, sports associations and youth organizations, etc. These groups volunteer on a regular basis by performing beautification projects within the assigned park. The volunteers are engaging with nature, giving back to the community, and sharing in the effort of park maintenance with our City employees. This effort has a spill-over effect in fostering community and creating Mission, KS as a premier parks destination.
