Mission Family Aquatic Center Rules
1. Obey pool staff at all times. Lifeguards enforce rules and respond to aquatic emergencies, but parents/guardians are ultimately responsible for the safety and supervision of their children.
2. No horseplay on the pool deck or dunking of other patrons is allowed.
3. Each attraction within the Aquatic Center is unique and may not be suitable for all guests.
4. Children under the age of 10 MUST be accompanied by an adult AT ALL TIMES.
5. In the event of adverse weather, the pools will close at management’s discretion. No refunds or rain checks will be given.
6. No abusive, offensive or profane language shall be permitted.
7. Flotation devices and water toys are subject to the approval of pool staff. All personal flotation devices must be US Coast Guard approved.
8. Proper swimsuit attire must be worn at all times. Cutoffs, thongs or other swimsuits determined inappropriate by the pool management staff will not be permitted.
9. Swimwear with zippers, buckles, rivets or any other metal ornamentation will not be allowed on the slides.
10.Paper or cloth diapers are prohibited in spray ground and pools. Swim diapers are available for purchase at the front desk. Diapers must be changed at the diaper changing stations in the locker rooms or restrooms.
11.Use of alcohol, tobacco or any illegal substance is not permitted.
12.Private lessons are prohibited unless arranged through the recreation department.
13.No bikes, roller blades, scooters or skateboards are allowed.
14.Glass containers of any kind are not permitted.
15.No pets allowed.
16. No outside food or drink is permitted in the facility. Guests who violate this policy will be asked to remove the food from the facility. 

Pool Toys Policy: It is up to the discretion of the pool manager and or supervisor to approve or disapprove toys due to capacity of the pool and or misuse from patrons.

Good to Go! Dive sticks, Diving Rings, Barbies/figurines, Bath toys, Goggles, Snorkels, Buckets, Soft Pool balls (Provided by MFAC)

Keep at Home! Mermaid tails, All Balls - Hard or Inflatable  (includes but not limited to: inflatable beach balls, nerf balls, rubber balls, etc.), Inflatables (including floating inflatables for infants/toddlers), Kickboards, Noodles

Mission Family Aquatic Center Diving Board Rules
1. One person on a board at a time.
2. One person on a ladder at a time.
3. Jump straight off the board, facing forward only.
4. Do not dive until the previous diver has reached the ladder.
5. Swimmers may bounce only once on the diving boards.
6. No one will be allowed in the diving well to “catch” or assist others going off the diving board.
7. No flotation devices allowed on diving boards.

Mission Family Aquatic Center Waterslide Rules
1. All riders must be at least 42” tall.
2. Maximum rider weight is 300 pounds.
3. WARNING: Water depth is shallow.
4. Non-swimmers are not permitted.
5. All riders must ride feet first while lying on their back with arms crossed across their chest. Do not go down the slide head first. Do not sit up while riding the slide.
6. Riders must enter the slide in a sitting position and wait for instructions from the lifeguard stationed at the slide starter tub.
7. Do not propel yourself into the ride.
8. Only one rider at a time. Absolutely no trains or chains of riders are permitted.
9. No running, standing, kneeling, rotating, tumbling or stopping in the flume. Arms and hands must remain inside the flume at all times. Riders should remain in proper riding position until forward movement is terminated. At no time should the rider attempt to stand up while on the slide or prior to coming to a complete stop in the splash out area.
10. No tubes, mats, or life jackets are permitted on the waterslide.
11. No combs or foreign objects are allowed in pockets and no jewelry can be worn while riding the slide. No cutoff jeans or swimwear with exposed zippers, buckles, rivets or metal ornamentation; only approved swimsuits allowed.
12. The line should form on the deck with one rider on each landing and one rider in the starter tub. Wait until landing area is clear before entering.
13. Riders must be in good health. Elderly persons, those suffering from heart disease, high blood pressure, epilepsy, or persons using prescription medication should consult their physician before using this slide. Individuals with medical conditions including, but not limited to, pregnancy, heart, or back problems should not ride.
14. Do not use this slide while under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
15. No diving from the slide.
16. Leave the run out area promptly after entering.
17. Rider assumes all risk of injury due to misuse of this slide or failure to follow these rules.
